My stay was very nice at this hotel. The beds are very comfy, and the pillows as well. The rooms are large, with a great view of the lake. Located right on the lake, close to music venues. Reasonably priced and clean. The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been a larger, more sophisticated menu at the restaurant.

I come here every year as my Christmas gift to me. The African American manager made my night for my room. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The view was obscured by dense fog but went to spa area. Hot tub was very warm as it should be.My 91year Mom really enjoyed it as well!! We slept well, comfy and warm. Muskegon Lake was in full view and lovely!! Check out was swift and off we went. I want to add that you can walk to many restaurants and bars. Western Ave is well lit and has a drinking fair area district drinking. There is also a Fraunthal Theater & Hilt Building with a variety of events and interesting things to do.We have a retired ship LST 393 museum. Many items from wars. A touching Viet Nam exhibit is there also.

Was packers n the area for an event. The hotel was very nice. The theme was 1920 travel. They had a very nice drawing room the pool was nice had 2 hot tubes. They did have a little restaurant that you could get breakfast sandwichs smoothie and waffles. The sandwichs were good. It snowed all day. The views from the rooms were fantastic

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was downright impressive—spacious, modern, and spotless. Every part of the stay felt easy and welcoming, and I left feeling refreshed and well taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable visit.

My partner and I used to stay here all the time, rarely ever went to another hotel in Muskegon. Rooms were dated, could’ve used updates real bad; but we never minded as our rooms were cleanly, workers were friendly and the location was nice! This was our first time staying here in over a year, prices are a little more pricey than they used to be - which was a factor as to why we haven’t been back. Let’s just say, we were pleasantly shocked when we noticed all the updates they’ve done! Basically a whole new bathroom, new lights, new tv, new furniture; just lots of needed updates. I will say, there are some minor things you notice that maybe could be tweaked. The bathroom shower could’ve been sealed better, the shower seemed smaller, and there was wallpaper that looked like it was shoved behind an alarm or something that was on the wall. All in all, we had a nice stay and are glad that they are updating it for a more pleasant stay.

We stayed here 20 years ago, shortly after it opened, and again this weekend. It hasn't changed a bit, and has been well-maintained. Staff are very friendly, bed is perfectly comfortable. They have an in-house restaurant, and an adjacent restaurant as well. Muskegon has also really built up, so many restaurants to choose from.

This hotel is beautiful Lake front views and inviting atmosphere. We checked in on 10/18/2025. At about 9pm but there was still so much to do with two bar and grill options I also want to commend the staff for the cleanliness of the hotel. By far one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to. We will definitely be back!

Got the top floor suite and it was nice but definitely dated. The walls were dingy patched wall paper, the full kitchen had no pots and pans and the hotel didn't offer any??? The doors in front of the whirl pool tub were old rickety closet doors that have seen better days. All in all it was nice to be with our family that had a decent pool and a room with wonderful views. There was one gentleman that worked the counter( very tall man ) who was always happy and kind to our kiddos in the mornings but the multicolored hair young lady with the hoops in her face never even cared enough to look up from her phone while she sat multiple different times at the front desk with her feet kicked up? Not exactly hospitable in her hospitality job. The barista guy who makes coffee in the morning is equally crabby and the house keepers in the am were the same crabby attitudes as we swam in the pool at 8 am. I smiled at one of the girls giving out the orders and she looked at me like it was a bad episode from highschool. All in all not an awful stay but everyone on staff could use a refresher course in hospitality. ( Except the tall gentleman behind the counter and the young girl who works the desk in the evening during the week. They were the only two professional pleasant people to do business with.)
